What is news? What is Media?

News is defined as a person, thing, or event considered as a choice subject for journalistic treatment. It is information relevant to you. There are different levels of news based on the magnitude of people it affects. There's worldwide news, which is news that could affect everyone in the entire world, such a s large war going on. There is national news, which is relevant to everyone in a nation and could have effects on most if not all the people in it. Then there is also local news, which is news that is only relevant to a small community. Media is what reaches out and influences people by delivering the news. They do this by going out and getting the news, and then delivering it to you. They do this live, visually, digitally, and through print. They are both important parts of society because they make us smarter by presenting us with more information and knowledge. Both news and media have been around forever, and each day it becomes more and more technologically advanced. The media has an enormous impact on society because they filter which news they find most important, and which they find less. They choose what news to bring to the public, and therefore impact us in every minute ofthe day.
