Black and White vs. Red, Blue, and Green

With the emergence of electronic media in the past century, it has always been discussed how different the same news story can be presented when it is in traditional print media, or learned from TV/Radio.

Print media is the most traditional way of getting important information across. For hundreds of years, people have turned to their morning newspapers as a way of learning what the important events going on in the world are and how they affect the readers daily lives.

This method of spreading information has it's pros and cons, specifically it does not move, so the reader can go back to information they may have missed, but also requires patience and proficient reading ability. It also allows the individual to decide what to read and what not to take in.

TV/Radio broadcast is different because it is much more visual and entertaining. Instead of reading a story, the person only has to listen and watch what is happening, thus saving time they may have spent reading word after word in a newspaper.

However, news through this medium is very selected, meaning the viewer has to listen to the stories the news outlet thinks are important. There is also no "going back" to what has already been said, meaning if you miss something the first time, there's no way to replay the broadcast.
