Journalists and Ethics

Journalists face ethical dilemmas every day though some ethical dilemmas are more problematic for them than others. Often their work involves exposing people about things that they have done and often these things do not look favorably on these people. That is why journalists face these ethical dilemmas because on one hand they have the option to publish a great story that could essentially cost someone their career and maybe even family life. Though sometimes a story like this should be published because the journalists also have a duty to inform the public as well as create stories for the company they are working for. That is why it is important for newspapers and other such news mediums must make sure that the journalists they hire are ones that understand what ethics are and know when and when not to publish a story because it is ethically wrong.
