Broadcasting vs. Print…Which is better?

A good radio or television news story grabs the viewers’ attention. Sometimes something clever or out there that really makes the viewer want to watch or listen to the story.

These broadcasts should be short and sweet and right to the point. If they are too long, the attention of the audience will be lost. I know that when the news is on in my house no one is just sitting there watching the television. Most people are doing other things around the house while still listening to the program; this is why the broadcasters need to grab the viewers’ attention so they stay focused on the topic at hand.

For print, people have sit down and be ready to read the newspaper or a magazine. They cannot be multitasking because they have to keep their eyes on the paper at all times instead of just using their ears to listen.
