Everyone is Right

Journalists are employed to inform the public of information worthy of hearing. They are necessary to give truthful guidance and news.

The First Amendment is crucial in protecting the rights and ideas of these journalists and every other person. The idea of freedom of speech and freedom of press grant these writers the privilege of sharing opinions, beliefs, and views that some people may not agree with.

Although certain aspects are not covered by the First Amendment, such as slander and libel, everyone has a right to an opinion.

Defamatory statements are not permissible, and a court will not protect those people who commit libel with actual malice.
