What makes a good radio/tv news story? How is it different than print?

Tv. and radio differ from print in more than one way. In tv you have the ability to show visuals while in radio you have the ability to provide audio. TV and radio have the benefit if audio/visual impact which is important because the audience is able to see and hear the reporter. Also, tv and radio stories are short, and reporters use the inverted pyramid.

Print stories on the other hand tend to be longer than radio or television stories, because radio and television stories the reporter gets straight to the point because they have a time limit. Print stories do not have time limits and therefore are able to expand more on the story.

In the end, print stories are more descriptive than radio or tv stories because they do not have a time constraint and are able to talk more about the main ideas of the story and expand more.
