Plagiarism..whats the reward?

Plagiarism is taking someone else’s work and claiming it as your own whether it be a view from a close friend or a quote from a newspaper.

Plagiarism is not acceptable, in any of its forms.

However, it unfortunately happens a lot in journalism.

One of the reasons plagiarism happens in journalism is because it can make a story better if you add details that may not be correct but that people want to hear.

Also, journalists may not be well-informed and may not always have the desirable amount of information so they plagiarize to get more information in the story.

In this day and age plagiarism is seen more and more because of the competitive news but it is never acceptable.

Journalists, should always cite their sources whether it is simply for a class assignment or for a major newspaper.
