Journalists have responsibility to pay attention to the world around them and accurately portray it back to the public in a truthful manner.
Without journalists to watch the world and to make daily decisions, and judgements to decide what is newsworthy the public would not have a reliable out let for their news.
Journalists are not afraid to report their findings, or to go to great lengths to report the most accurate facts to their audiences.
They are not afraid to ask the tough questions or to put themselves in the toughest of situations to get their story.
Journalists are up hold a certain standard and that is to deliver the public objective and unbiased. They continue to prove their importance with every breaking story, and with every well written news article, or live television broadcast.
