Journalists Are Everywhere Because They Have To Be

When there’s a fire down town, or a drive by shooting at the local Cumby plaza, the people look to the news to find out what happened. Who do they depend on? Journalists.

Journalists have the responsibility of accurately delivering the news to the everyday person.

Over time we have expected these individuals to offer us a good story with the accurate facts. When we look to the TV to get the news, these journalists are faces that we have learned to trust and faces that we know.

As a journalist this part of the job is crucial, you don’t want to betray the trust of the people.

The other part of a journalist’s job is to be the linkage between the information and the people. We expect them to go in deep and get the information that we want to hear.

But the great thing about it this part of the job is that anyone can do it. Thanks to Citizen Journalism, if there is something interesting or news worthy that a journalist is not able to get there, we as citizens have that same responsibility to get the news out there.

The news is everywhere and is always happening, it will never stop and journalists, no matter what kind will always be there to deliver it.
