Things to Keep in Mind While Writing a Profile

A profile needs an intriguing beginning to hook the readers and grab their attention.

Journalists need to include biographical information on their subject through out the body, which comes from tagging alongside them and interviewing their family, friends, colleagues, and past acquaintances.

The body can be organized thematically or chronologically, but either way is should include quotes and details to help the readers to better understand the subject.

In profiles, the information does not need to be written in inverted pyramid style like news articles. Profiles can end like essays or works of fiction, with influential quotes or circular endings that refer back to the beginning of the profile.
