Different Types of Journalists

Any one can be a journalist. Simply telling your friend information about an event or anything for that matter, you are showing qualities of a journalist.

Journalists are the members of the media who inform the audience about current events, tragedies, people, issues, and movements.

Reporters are the most recognized journalists. They construct stories to report for television, newspapers, magazines, radio, and the Internet. The work that a reporter creates comes straight from the source. The stories can either be spoken as if on television news and the radio or they can be written like in magazines, newspapers and the Internet.

Another type of journalist is a columnist. These types of journalists write weekly columns in newspapers, magazines, or the Internet generally with a theme behind them.

With these types of journalists, the news is being brought straight to the audience. Without journalists, no one would be out in the world interviewing people and/or finding out what is worth sharing with the viewers or readers as news.
